WELCOME TO TERM 1

Happy New Year and welcome to Term 1. I hope you all had a rejuvenating break and kept safe from all this wild weather.

With the New Year comes a host of hopes and resolutions. Like many others, I often make the mistake of setting too lofty goals and expectations for myself. This year, my goal is simple: to play the piano every day, even if it's only for a few minutes before I head out the door! Whatever your goals and however they may go, I hope you will find joy, comfort, and inspiration in music.

What matters is not how many high grades you’ve earned, but if you’ve been inspired by what you’ve learned.
— Dr Jacqueline Schiff, clinical psychologist

To enrol for music lessons, click here to complete our online enrolment form and we will be in touch with you as soon as there is a space available. The first quarter is the busiest period of the year for our admin team but rest assured, we are working as hard as possible to schedule music lessons for all our students.

If you have any questions about your enrolment, email our dedicated admin team (Cheryl, Gillian, Anne) at musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz.

Thank you for choosing Lewis Eady as your musical partner this year.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: GROUP FEES INCREASE

From Term 2, 2023, fees for group lessons and Musical Jam will increase from $175 per term (based on a 10-week term) to $185 per term. This change will be reflected in your Term 2 invoice which will be dispatched in the week commencing 27 March.

Thank you for your continued support of Lewis Eady Music School. We look forward to continuing to provide high-quality music teaching this year.

REMINDER: FEE PAYMENT

Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully to ensure your music lessons can start and continue without any disruptions.

  • Fees are charged on a 'per term' basis and must be paid prior to the first lesson of the term or within seven days of the invoice.

  • Once the invoice has been generated, you remain liable to pay the invoice in full. Should you wish to cancel lessons after you have received your invoice, the usual four weeks’ notice of cancellation and costs apply until we receive in writing (i.e., email) advising us that you wish to cancel your lessons.

Any overdue accounts will be subject to additional collection fees (i.e., compulsory late payment fee of $50) and may be handled by a third party credit control. Lessons may be suspended or cancelled by us and costs of recovery of any overdue amount charged to you. Lessons missed due to late payment of term fees are not refundable.
