LET'S BEGIN

LET’S BEGIN

I hope you all had a fantastic summer holiday and are looking forward to a new year with exciting musical challenges.

Music provides a unique avenue for continuous growth, fostering skills in creativity, perseverance, and collaboration that extend far beyond the confines of formal education. As you embark on your musical journey with us this term, I encourage you to embrace and cherish the wealth of new musical learnings and experiences that await you along the way.

To enrol for music lessons, click here to complete our online enrolment form and we will be in touch with you as soon as there is a space available. All enrolments are processed in the order received.

We are experiencing a particularly high volume of new enrolments, which may cause a slight delay in our responses. If the enrolment form has been successfully submitted, you should receive an auto-response email. If this is not the case, please email us at musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz.

If you have any questions about your enrolment, email our dedicated admin team - Cheryl, Gillian, Georgie - at musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz

See you at your lesson!

IMPORTANT: EASTER BREAK DATES

PLEASE NOTE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT DATES FOR EASTER BREAK FOR PARTNER SCHOOL STUDENTS AND GREAT SOUTH ROAD STUDIO STUDENTS:

  • Partner School students: NO lessons on Friday 29 March - Tuesday 2 April. Lessons resume on Wednesday 3 April for partner schools.

  • Great South Road Studio students: NO lessons on Friday 29 March - Monday 1 April. Lessons at this venue resume on Tuesday 2 April.

Whilst Tuesday 2 April is not a public holiday, it has been deemed a school holiday by the Ministry of Education, hence why all schools across the motu will be closed. However, music lessons for students scheduled for lessons at our Great South Road Studios on Tuesday 2 April will continue as per normal.

For more information about public holidays in New Zealand, please click here.

HEALTH & SAFETY

We encourage all students to wash and sanitise hands often and handle their own gear at lessons (e.g. music books, chairs, music stands).

Students displaying symptoms of cold, flu, or COVID-19 should not be coming to in-person lessons.

For Great South Road students only, we can accommodate Skype lessons at your normal lesson day and time, provided that you let us know with sufficient notice (i.e., 4 hours in advance).

REMINDER: FEES

Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully to ensure your music lessons can start and continue without any disruptions.

  1. Fees are charged on a 'per term' basis and must be paid within seven days of the invoice.

  2. Once the invoice has been generated, you remain liable to pay the invoice in full. To cancel lessons after you have received your invoice, the usual four weeks’ notice of cancellation and costs apply until we receive in writing (i.e., email) advising us that you wish to cancel your lessons.

  3. Overdue accounts will be subject to additional collection fees (i.e., compulsory late payment fee of $50) and may be handled by a third party credit control. Lessons may be suspended or cancelled by us and costs of recovery of any overdue amount charged to you. Lessons missed due to late payment of term fees are not refundable.

  4. In the event of late payment, any discounts applied to an invoice will be discontinued.

REMINDER: SKYPE LESSONS

We look forward to making music with you online!

Online music lessons via Skype remain an option for already enrolled students who cannot attend their lessons in person (e.g. cold/flu symptoms, isolating at home due to COVID-19, travelling).

Not yet registered? Complete our Skype Lesson Registration Form here.

Already registered? Email musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz to confirm your next Skype lesson date/time at least 4 hours’ prior to the lesson time.

Your Skype lesson is covered by your usual term or lesson fee. We cannot provide credits for missed or unattended Skype lessons.
