Group singing and performance skills.

Fun, energetic classes working on technique, harmonies, performance skills and a range of other disciplines to complement voice training (e.g. pilates, yoga, musical theory, acting, accents and more).  Regular performance opportunities are provided. 

PERFORMANCE PRACTICE WORKSHOPS

FOR STUDENTS IN YEAR 4+ AT SCHOOL

Many singers struggle with excessive nerves and this can have a huge effect on their performance achievement.  Performance Practice Workshops have been designed to offer the opportunity for students to increase their confidence and skills in performance, both in the preparation for a performance and in the performance itself.

WORKSHOP DURATION: 6 hours (10am-4pm)
LOCATION: Lewis Eady, Level 1, 75 Great South Road, Remuera

Workshops include a focus on individual performance technique, harmonies, group singing techniques, storytelling within a song, preparation techniques and more. There is a strong emphasis on learning through understanding and enjoyment in a fun, supportive environment. 

Students must come prepared with one song memorized (with chords or sheet music for accompanist) a packed lunch and a drink bottle. 

The workshop is under the tutelage and guidance of our vocal tutor Charlotte West, with assistance from other specialist tutors and will conclude with a presentation for family and friends.
