LEWIS EADY AND YOU

The important thing to recognise when choosing the right stringed instrument is the more money you can invest from the beginning the better quality, sound and playability you will enjoy.

Cheaper instruments are harder to tune, don’t sound as good and won’t hold their resale value anywhere near as well as an instrument of higher value. At Lewis Eady we always recommend you dedicate as much of your budget as possible to get the best instrument that is right for you, so you can maximise the enjoyment and, if you’re just beginning, ensure the continuation of learning.

At Lewis Eady we always make sure our instruments are fully setup before making their way onto our shop floor. This includes the bridge being fitted so the action isn’t too high, pegs fitted to run smoothly, soundpost adjusted, as well as any other necessary tweaks to make the instrument sound and feel good to play.

PALATINO
For over 10 years we have been importing Palatino instruments, which offer a quality range of violins, violas, cellos, bows and accessories. You can pay as little as $295 for a violin and $995 for a cello, both make ideal beginner instruments for any age. All Palatino violins, violas and cellos enjoy a full setup to get the absolute best out of the instrument.

KG INSTRUMENTS

Akord Kvint has been producing high quality violins in the Czech Republic since 1991.
