Steinway and Sons famous 'Kunstler' or 'Artists' list comprises of over 1600 of the world's top concert pianists. As Steinway Artists, they personally own and perform exclusively on the Steinway piano. And yet no Steinway Artist is paid for his or her endorsement.

Every Steinway Crown Jewel is painstakingly made to order for its owner which means that not only can every owner choose a specific model, and select their favourite woods and grains, they also have the opportunity of seeing their Steinway Jewel taking shape, by visiting the factory in Hamburg and watching Steinway & Sons' master craftsmen at work.
STEINWAY LIMITED EDITION PIANOS
Since its establishment in 1853, Steinway have matched important anniversaries with stunning Limited Edition pianos designed by some of the world's top designers. These pianos are created in limited quantities and become very collectible.
The year 2000 was the 300 year anniversary of the piano. Steinway launched a limited edition piano designed by Dakota Jackson.
in 2003 the 150th anniversary of Steinway saw 150 unique pianos designed by Karl Largerfeld named 'The Sled' and utilizing his trademark orange to the underside of the lid and to the stool.
Then in 2005 legendary creator of arguably the world's most beautiful sport's car – the BMW 507 – Albrecht Goertz was entrusted with the design of the Hamburg factory's 125th anniversary model A. Lewis Eady Ltd was one of only a handful of Steinway dealers to sell not one but two of these unique pianos.
