Musical Jam - Years 1 & 2 at school
Our instrumental prep course which awakens and nurtures a love of active music-making in children.
Based on the Orff method of teaching, this programme incorporates singing, movement, ensemble playing and experimentation on instruments such as xylophones, hand-drums and maracas. Improvisation is also encouraged which develops each child's individual creativity.
Musical Jammers learn to 'feel the beat' and the fundamentals of music in this fun, supportive environment. They then have an easy, enjoyable transition to an instrument in year 3 at school.

Introduction to Singing on Saturdays - Years 1, 2 and 3 at school
Designed to build confidence and skills with tuning, rhythm, and singing in a group. Ideal as a follow on from Singing Rainbows and Musical Jam and as a foundation before one on one voice lessons.

Blast Off - Junior & Senior - Years 3 & 4 at school
This fun music programme is the perfect way to introduce your child to a range of instruments.
Each weekly 30 minute lesson (3 weeks on each instrument) also includes some general music theory covering the fundamentals of rhythm, note-reading and dynamics.
At the completion of the course children get to choose the instrument they wish to continue learning.
Allowing your child to take ownership of their instrument decision has great benefits especially with regard to their motivation to play regularly, practice and progress.
Blast Off Junior - Year 3 at school
Blast-off! Junior is a one term 'test drive' of ukulele, keyboard and recorder which makes the decision of a first instrument so much easier!
The three instruments included in this programme are well-suited to this age group (based on physical size and learning development) and skills learnt on each can be transferred to other instruments- recorder to saxophone, clarinet and flute; ukulele to guitar; keyboard to drum kit, percussion and most instruments.
Blast Off Senior - Year 4 at school
Blast-off! Senior for older chlidren offers a taste of guitar, keyboard and drum kit (3 weeks on each instrument).

Cosmic Keys - Year 3+ at school
Cosmic Keys is the fun way to learn beginner piano in a small group environment.
This course covers piano basics, music theory and fundamentals, and includes some fun, educational music games.
Children work at their own pace in a small group which allows for collaborative learning and a motivating musical beginning.
It is necessary to have a piano or keyboard at home for this programme. Our retail team offers an instrument rental scheme available exclusively for our Music School students.

Rhythm and Drumming - Year 3 at school
An engaging and fun introduction to drumming for year 3's. Using rhythm, percussion and drums in an exciting, energetic group lesson, this course offers the ideal foundation for drum kit lessons in year 4.

We offer individual or small group tuition in a wide range of instruments.
Regular practice is an essential part of learning so you will need access to an instrument while enrolled in individual lessons.
