On the way to stardom, you'll write original songs, perform and record your music and have loads of fun playing in a band with other Rock Stars your age. Our Rock School coaches are all music teachers and experienced band members with Rock Star energy and enthusiasm.
October Rock School will be jazz infused with flautist Miho Wada (pictured right) joining the Rock School coaching team. Concert band teacher at two local primary schools, Miho also leads her electrifying Japanese Punk Jazz band! You can read more about Miho on the Our Team page of our website.
Rock School includes songwriting and instrument tuition on band instruments - drum kit, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, voice. Recording and performance for family and friends will take place at MAINZ - Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand. Teacher to band ratio 1:1.

When:

$359 per child for 3 days
Participants must have at least one year’s music experience
