1.  Do you teach all ages?
Lewis Eady Music School provides music programmes for all ages.  Singing Rainbows for pre-schoolers, music programmes for school age children and adults at all musical levels - beginners to advanced students.

2.  Where are the lessons held?
If you have heard about Lewis Eady through your school, then lessons will be held at your school.  We also teach music at our Music Centre at 75 Great South Rd Monday to Friday from 3.00pm and on Saturdays.

3.  What schools do you teach in?
Currently we teach at Ponsonby, Pt Chevalier, Hobsonville, Parnell, Richmond Road, Remuera, Mangawhau, Meadowbank, St Leo's Devonport, St Joseph's Orakei, St Michaels Remuera, Vauxhall, Westmere, Balmoral, St Marys Northcote, Takapuna, Bayfield, Freemans Bay, Newton Central and East Tamaki Primary Schools, Pasadena Intermediate and Marist College.

4.  Are the lessons in school time?
For Music @ School students, lessons are usually held in school time.  We offer after school lessons at some partner schools.  For those pupils learning at our Music Centre, lessons are held after school and on Saturdays.

5.  Do we need an instrument?
For all classes with the exception of Blast-off and Musical Jam, it is necessary to have an instrument to practice on at home.  Regular practice is an essential part of learning an instrument.  Please refer to our instrument schemes for more information on our Instrument Buy Back and Rent to Buy schemes.

6.  How much does it cost and how long are the lessons?
Term fees are $150 per child for 30 minute group classes and $300 per child for individual
classes.  Please refer to the individual programmes for more detailed information.

7.  How can we pay our term's fees?
At the Music Centre you can pay tuition fees (and any other purchases) by cash, cheque, EFTPOS and most major credit cards.  You can also pay by internet or phone banking.  Please contact us for further details.  It is helpful to include the account holder's name and the
pupil's name and school with any payment.

8.  What happens if I miss a lesson?
We are unable to arrange replacement lessons or credits if you have missed a lesson (or will miss a lesson) for any reason.  Should one of our music teachers be absent due to illness we will arrange for a relieving teacher.  If we are unable to arrange a relieving teacher then you will be notified that lessons for that day are cancelled and your account will be credited to reflect the cancellation.

9.  What do I need to do if I want to stop my lessons?
Once you have started your music lessons the timeslot you have been allocated remains yours unless we advise you otherwise or until you advise us that you no longer require it.  You need to give us 4 weeks notice when withdrawing from lessons.  We ask that you advise the Music School Administrator by phone or email (not the teacher).
